Schlidaveur 07 Round 6.... The Final Playoff Chapter!

Tonight!
Tonight!
TONIGHT!

Schlitz (2-0) vs. Cadavers (0-2)
Playoff Game 3
Canton 9:10
Tuesday 9/4/07

It all comes down to this. A playoff showdown between sister....err.. brother franchises. The Schlitz are now
playing for the chance to advance to the division CHAMPIONSHIP GAME, and the only thing that stands in the way.... is the Cadavers. This will be the last chance for playoff redemption for the skating dead given that they have lost both of thier previous games, and the last one...ingloriously.
We have seen these roster matchups before. Just three weeks ago these squads faced off. Of course the Schlitz from that game are now the Cadavers... and vice versa...but whatever. That was a very good game and tonight looks to be the same. The Schlitz hold the decided advantage in the season series being up 3-1-1 for the summer. The Cads can only hope to try and come closer to balancing that record.

Schlitz Roster
Larry Bell (out), Pete Capraro, Chris Fosdick (out), Ken Goldenberg, Dan Gregson, Greg James, Bill Pearlman, Scott Pounds, Kevin Manning (with jello shots), Matvey Nikhamik, Dave Spenciner, Jim Sullivan, Stefan Wennik, Mike (Dr. Zero, OEJ) Gash...in net.

Cadavers Roster
Mike Campbell, Deb Dalessio, Matt Elliot (out), Jeff Fosdick, Josh Greenstein, Mike Hammitt, Dan Herbert, Mike Jasse (?able ...injury), Matt Kilroy, Roman Kurin (?able ...vacation), Kevin Parker, George Moorachain, Nelson Sharfman
Lizzy in net

So let the smack talk begin. Either the Suds are moving on to playoff glory or the Zombies will exact their rotten revenge on the "golden boys". Will the Suds continue their run and hopefully make the combined Schlidavuers proud? Will the Cads take great pleasure with an off season after knocking off the Suds, despite the results from the whole year and playoffs? More importantly... will Kevin really bring the jello shots again? Will Miran be preparing special treats with properly oriented nuggets in them? Will the fourth period last until next season? So many questions.... and tonight we will discover the answers. Tonight the playoff fate of our twin franchieses will be decided. Tonight we go to war with oursevles.

So bring the smack. Bring your game. Bring something for the after party. Just bring it all to Canton by 9:10pm tonight, and we'll have our questions answered.

See you there.

Geez, this is like Tommy going on the ice with the NTPD jersey on. I don't know who to pull for anymore.

Late breaking news Penalty Boss Man, Mike Hammitt will not be able to attend. Too bad.

Hammitt is running from the big can of whoop-ass he was going to get tonight.
