Schlitz playoff future hangs in balance tonight!

Team,
Here finally, is the story oh patient reader of the blog. The League Office has informed us we will hear about the fate of the Schlitz and the Championship game by tomorrow morning. That means that there is a chance they will not go at all, pending the result of tonight's game between the Rangers and the Scapegoats (Canton 9:10). That means management has broken out the Math Monkey from accounting down the hall to work out the possibilities.
Here is how the scenario breaks down. If the 'Goats win, they are 3-0 and they play the Schlitz who will be the only team at 2-1 thanks to the bye. If the Rangers win then all three of those teams will finish 2-1. The head to head tiebreakers are a bit of a mind bending confusion and the monkey started throwing things around the offices here so we decided to go to the next conditions. That would be goals against, and after 2 dozen bananas and some regretful resignations, we came up with this. If the Rangers win and score more than 4 goals.... then the Schlitz are in. If the Rangers win and score less than 4 goals... chances are those two teams will both have a goals against average less than the 3.00 that the Schlitz will have.
Again, the League may have some better mystical formula for the head to head level, but we figured if the Math Monkey couldn't figure it out... what chance did the rest of Management have? Especially one day after returning from the Medical Professionals Symposium... sponsored by Heineken.

There you have it. Watch this space tomorrow morning for the official word.

Remember if you are on the Schlitz roster, chances are you are playing, so be ready. If you aren't than bring your Schlitz Jersey and your favorite beverage and come down to the Championship Game Thursday night at 7pm at Northeastern. It would be great to have a cool hang and support our Schlidaveur brethren.

Empty Net goal counts as GAA right?

Any chance that will haunt the Schlitz?

Any chance somebody can broadcast this game on the web or NESN, Cambridge cable access?
I'll be in the home of Budweiser, pouring fresh suds into my belly.
Party on Wayne.
Party on Garth.
Good luck

So Rangers could have won and scored exactly 4 goals - since the were tied 3-3 at the end of regulation...
