The word from the Leauge (well the website) is this. Thanks to a 4-3 Overtime win by the Scapegoats the Schlitz are now officially playing for the Canuck Division Championship.

Thats right, after all these games we're down to 1 left, for all the marbles. Matt has sent out requests so we can nail down the roster as quickly as possible. The game is tomorrow night! Remember, everyone is welcome. This is a very early game and it would be really great to have a bunch of us rooting on the Suds. Bring a beverage, bring a friend, bring something, and lets help the Suds "bring it".

The Suds will be facing a formidable opponent. The 'goats are 3-0 with 2 overtime victories in that run. The first over our beloved Zombies back at the end of August. That game was wild and really the Zombies almost had them. They had totally lost thier cool when we scored to tie the game in the closing seconds. But for a questionable call in OT, things could have been veeery different. The 'goats then smoked the Tigers and then went to OT again to win last night against the Rangers. They should be formidable.... but beatable by our Suds.
