Well friends... the Blogger is here to tell you that this was a phe-nom-inal event. It was so good that I think that I'm fully recovered now that it is mid-day on Wednesday.
Thanks to everyone who came out. This was a whole bag o' fun for everyone in attendance and is sure to turn into a yearly event.
First off thanks again to Pete Capraro (for the idea), Mike Campbell (for organizing), Mark Reynolds (for both trucks), Matt Kilroy (for driving a truck), Mike Jasse (for driving a truck) and all who brought items to share and helped in general. Your efforts turned in a terrific evening for us to enjoy!
Lets see... let's make a quick shout out to all the attendees.
Mike and Laura Campbell, Joanna and Marc Valenti, Scott and Carlotta Pounds, Mike and Beth Jasse with adorable Madison, Pete and Kerry Capraro, Greg and Miran James, Lizzy and her Dad, Matt and Kerry Kilroy with little Herbie, Mark Reynolds, Josh Greenstein, Kathy and Damon (the only non-daveurs), Larry and Sarah Bell, and of course Mr and Mrs. Blogger.
The big story of the night was the UNSTOPPABLE duo of Mike and Greg on the horseshoe pit. They took all comers and put them right back down each time. Greg was in the zone.
Also big big ups to Lizzy and Dad for walking out to meet us with all kinds of goodies including Jello-shots and bags of Mom's Pesto Pasta. Yummy!
