3-3 Tie
Well hello there, blog readers... hello? Anyone in here? Is this thing on?
The Suds took the ice Monday night to face off against the much improved, division leading Blues in Cambrigde. A new game site, but an old familiar refrain as the teams played another classic in a long history of tight and exciting games.

The Blogger wasn't in the house for this one, so as usual we will have some excellent Guest Blog selections from the guys that were. The Blogger wants to thank everyone and anyone that chips in a word or some stats that help tell these stories.
I know the blog has been empty this season... but the stories are there, and nothing goes away forever, or stays the same forever. One thing for sure, it simply wouldn't continue to be without your contributions. Thanks. Sorry I haven't been here. I'll get back and up and running.

Alright enough of this:
Here's Captain George Moorachian with tales from the rink:
3-3 tie. It was a pretty fast-paced back and forth game. The tough
thing was 1 of the Blues goals was a result of a pass from behind our net going off of the Daley's skate as he was hustling back and stopping in front of the our goal. That one sucked.

The good thing was that we tied the game with something like 13 or 18 sec left, with the goalie pulled... textbook faceoff win by Larry, and awesome slapper by Baker. Actually, with the goalie pulled, prior to that goal, we had a flurry of good shots from the point from DWH and Baker.
Here are the stats:
Goals by period
Cads 1/0/2
Blues 0/2/1

Thanks George! Now here's a slightly more colorful recap from defenseman Eric Bauer:
Amazing!
We were down 1 goal late in the game. We pulled the goalie at 2 mins, then they got a penalty with about 50 secs to go.
On the ensuing face off, we stacked four in front of the net with on man on the point. DWH got the puck and got a really good shot off that just missed the net.
Then Matvey got into a small pushing match in front of the net. He off course of ejected with one of the blues. Leaving it at 5 (+ extra skater) on 4.
Next face off, three in front of the net, and two on the point. Baker got the puck off the draw and shot it in for the game tying goal. the puck hit the back iron and made a wonderful "clank" sound.
The place erupted, Carl detonated some dynamite, the Judge and Dr. Beeper both lost 80 grand, Ty Webb got to sleep with Lacey Underalls again, Al Cervick said "hey everybody, we're all gonna shower" (edited for tv), and Danny Noonan went to St. Copius (where there were only two girls and they were both nuns)!"

Special thanks to Jacob Marks for making the long trip and turning in a great game in net. The Schlidaveurs organization thanks you.
Good work. Hey this was fun... maybe we'll have to blog all our games...
