Spartans started with 4 and managed to get 6 skaters to kind of finish the game.
Sparta was about 296 warriors short for the first period.
Cadavers were listed as #6 #88 #5 #44(that's me) #7 #13 #90 #9(Possibly one of the Beatles) #83 #17 #23 or #25 can't tell #18 and rounding out an uneven 13 #55.
The referee/lineman's name was Brian and he really didn't want to do much except go home.
The scorekeeper was too busy writing down names and stats to write his own name so I will just refer to him as the nihilist.
So they started out with no goalie and had 4 skaters and and the usual "if the goalie doesn't show the game is off" Thanks Buddah he showed and they started down a man.
3 full lines and 2 sets of D were running short shifts. I don't remember much of the game because I was doing my bench yoga.
This is pretty much what the first period looked like.
So here is the scoring breakdown.
Period 1
Cadavers #17 at 8:25 assists #18 & #7
Cadavers #55 at 1:45 assists #18 and 3
Period 2
Cadavers #5 at 12:45 assist #23 and \
Cadavers #5 at 11:45 assist #23 and #83
That has to be some sort od NESHL record for us.
Great work by these two, I'm just guessing it was gordon & sully.
Cadavers #90 at 5:15 assists \ \ selfish guy in the blue helmet skated down the ice around the net and managed to somehow pop it in.
Period 3
Cadavers #13 at 16:41(how is that even possible?) Thanks nihilist. Assists #90 and \
Cadavers (Power Play) #88 at 11:10 assist #6 and #44
I think it may have been #6 assisted by #44 because this guy wasn't passing.
I know it was a power play because it felt like the start of the first period but nothing on the scoresheet.
Spartans#23 at 6:12 assists by \ and \
This play is called by Randy -
"It would have been a shutout, but the D screwed up and actually allowed a shot-on-goal in the third period."
The game ended soon after that as this was not Sparta and the Sully/Gordon combo injured the other goalie with about 4:30 left on the clock. I'm not sure what happened but I think Gordon smacked the puck on his knee or pulled the goalie muscle.
Conclusion
WE WIN!!!!!!!!!
Period 4
Goal by parker as he ventured into another locker room with a bunch of dudes dancing and playing with their dog. Came back with a beer with not comments.
3 Stars
* --- #5 for 2 goals and a goalie takeout
** --- #55 for 2 silent goals one of them being the game winner
*** --- #18 for 3 assists
Honorable mentions
Randy for an almost shutout and needing an escort for the way home.
and #90 little blue helmet goal & assist
Once again working together we proved that you can do it through teamwork.

2 Days in a row. That IS a record for us. At least in the last 458 days.
