Schlitz (1-1) vs Blues (1-1)
Tuesday September 9th
Dedham 9:00pm
The Beercans face off against our old rival the Blues tonight in Dedham. The Blues, who are sporting some niffty new Unis, are 1-1 courtesy of a 1-0 bye win (best record)and then a 5-1 loss at the hands of the CH Terriers. Both teams must win to have a hope for advancement.
The Beercans romped on Last Call (6-0) then got romped by the Scapegoats (6-2). The Suds face an uphill climb here, and will need help elsewhere even if they can beat the Blues. The Sitniks (Commie Bastards) and the Scapegoats are both 2-0 and one team will need to lose to get the Suds in. Even then it will come down to total goals with the Schlitz having 8, the 'goats 12, and the 'niks 7. So the most likely is if the Sitniks lose without scoring many and the 'cans win tonight big. That would buy a rematch with the 'goats.
However.... lets look at the task at hand. We haven't seen the Blues much lately the last time back in July. Lets get a good turnout and see if we can't get over on these guys in the playoffs for once.
